Prospect Snowboards Shock and Raw Slopestyle Competition

Friday January 29th. Registration Starts at 7:00 p.m. Competition starts at 8:00pm

The guys at Prospect have made it our mission to start putting on some rad events and create a fun vibe at competitions. We putting on loud music, grilling some food, and giving away some rad prizes. This is Prospect's first competition and we aren't here to disappoint. Top trick wins a snowboard from Prospect and there will be plenty of other prizes to go around. Come out, demo Prospect's gear, win some prizes and have some fun!

The Prospect Snowboards Slopestyle competition is a Jam style, slopestyle competition taking place in the Tyrol Basin Terrain Park. Competition is limited to 30 people and is $15 to enter. Contestants will get a grab bag with Prospect gear and other stuff worth at least $15 bucks! There will be 3 age groups for guys plus a girls group to be sure tons of prizes get passed. Proceeds for the contest go to the Prospect Feature Fund which will buy the next super rad feature in the park (Look out for a voting poll for this). Sponsors include Atmosphere Outerwear, Bataleon Snowboards, Funhat, Edgr Snowboard tools, Adrenaline Power Sports, and Rich's boards sports. Here is the 411 on how the comp works:

-Any Snowboarders can compete, guys, girls, all ages.

-Riders get 3 runs to put together their best run on any of the jumps/rails available.

-Helmets are required and contestants under 18 must have their parents sign the Prospect liability waiver and the Tyrol Liability Waiver

-There will be prizes for 1st through 3rd place in each division.

-Age groups will be split evenly according to distribution of age.
